Here in my sig i have an SLP Soundclip. The guy has Full SLP exhaust and Stage 2 cams I love that sound sooooo much... but honestly i think i wouldn't be able to deal with it when im trying to pick a girl up from her house, or just wake up in the morning and go for a drive down the street. Scaring the catholic school girls sounds fun and all but i dont know if i can take it ALLL the time.

DEFLESHED, your car is a daily driver, what do you think of it? Does it get annoying when u just want to cruise or visit friends, and the F*ing car is SCREAMING all over the place?

i'm a daily driver and i've gotten quite used to the sound. on top of that, the mach audio is great and if i dont wanna hear it i j/ turn up the music a bit. most comments i get from the car are, that's freakin loud or that's how a v8 is suppose to sound. Y would u have a 4.6L v8 and not want to hear it. thats j/ my opinion. If you want quiet, buy the v6 mustang.

I have an slp loudmouth catback I am looking to get rid of. First $225 takes it. We would have to work out the shipping. I am on Long Island. Would be willing to meet depending on location. I only had it on 2002 GT for 6 months. Wife complained.

for what it's worth and i'm guessing not much. everyone likes mine. the old muscle cars guys the young ricers and especially the three guys i work with that are still stock. i've been told it has an old style mopar (hemi) sound. too young to hear a stock one. i will say this: it will get louder as it gets older, it doesn't drone, installation is a snap, and it's never too loud . i just got my prochamber this week so hopefully it'll wake it up some more. i would of liked some more sound at idle, but i'm guessing i'll get that with the prochamber. now my old exhaust was anoying on long trips=87 5.0, p1sc, equal shorties, off road h, and mac dumps. my seat would rumble. but it was cool. i never forget at test and tune i was in the lane next to the ricers and they were like what the f---! only prob was the track was 1hr and 15min away! try driving at 80mph with 3.73's a blower, dumps, and sound deadening material removed. i say go for it. besides it's not that loud inside the car f--- everyone else

Wrong! I don't know where you got that from. With a stock mid pipe its a great sound not much louder than stock. I think some bad sound clips are circulating around here cause I thought it would be so loud and its not. I thought I would have to keep the stock h but its just not loud enough.

Sorry about giving you the wrong info about prices They are still 359 at both sites I was checking the price for a Cobra for some reason.

no muffler is going to be loud without an aftermarket h-pipe.

I have had the SLP catted and with race pipes and for a daily driver catted is awsome has a deeper rumble catted and less high pitch pop.

wait wait. u said u thought it was loud as hell with stock midpipes. i have the loud mouth and prochamber. the difference with the chamber is tremendous. if you are that impressed with the sound w/ stock midpipes god help you from not wetting your pants when you start it up with the prochamber.

the only thing thats good about the loudmouth setup are the tips. The sound is sub par and is total crap compared to most of its competitors at least as far as an exhaust note is concerned, the quality is top notch. Trust me, I got a damn loudmouth setup sitting in my garage right next to my factory mid pipe, god I can't wait to unload that system and sell it. Let me break it down for you...

SLP=NOISE
OTHERS=EXHAUST NOTE

I suppose its a great setup if you want your stang sound like an old chevy pickup, please trust me and take it from experience. Spend your money elsewhere!

I have the SLP Loudmouth and love it! All my previous stangs had flowmasters and I love that sound as well. The SLP is differnt but still sounds like a mustang. The quality is top notch as well as the fitment. IMO it's not loud enough though. I got mine for well under 400 bucks.

I know for a fact that the SLP has a much better exhaust tone than Flowmaster.

We have sound clips of the SLP cat-back on a mostly stock '01 GT
www.stangpro.com

We'll have clips of our Bullitt with full catted SLP system up soon too.

And whoever said the SLP cat-back was $400 shops in the wrong place.
E-mail me for a real price.
