smoke on gear change

Went to the track and noticed something new. The car has developed some smoke on each gear change (1-2, 2-3). I know its not rich (afr stays 11.7-12.0) and it looks more whitish anyways. I also had a breather on in place of the oil cap.

Don't pay attention to the pegleg. The right tire was in water and the left wasn't

Could be an oil leak that is puddling up on top of the tranny. Everytime the tranny jerks from a shift, the oil drops down on the exhaust and smokes up. I've seen that happen before.
