how much is your stang worth? I bet it isn't anywhere close to $80,000. For $80,000 it better smoke a bolt on stang. There is one that runs at Irwindale every once in a while. It does not impress me too much. Nice car but I would think for $80,000 it would have more hp than at least a gt500, which cost $30000 less. It's just my opinion.

The thing about the GTR is that he was probably able to log that whole run. With the push of a button you can change shock settings, log runs, measure g's, etc.
Am I the only one who thinks the GTR is ugly? Definatly a very impressive car technology wise but I think its down right hideous looking.
Those cars are nice. I work with a retired airtraffic controller that bought one. It's black, he paid 79k for his. He gave me a ride in it. I can vouch for 0-60 time. The car is loaded with options. You say a GT500 is better. As much as I love mustangs. I'm going to have to disagree with you. Not only is it a very good straight line car. But the design makes it a very roadrace friendly car....Oh and you can adjust the boost from inside the car. The only thing that sucks. Is the computer data logs everything. So if you get up to 120mph. When you take your car in for maintenance. Nissan will know and might void your warranty. But if I had the money. I'd still be a toss up between a z06 and a GT-R.
And if you line up to one with anything less than forced induction or a stroked big block. You can expect to have your ass handed to you. Slapping on a set of Gt-40 irons and a Gt-40 intake. Isn't gonna do **** for you against a GT-R.
Anybody who spends 70-80 grand for less than 500 hp at the crank is out of their mind. If I'm gonna get a "supercar", I'm going to do it right and buy a Vette or a GT500.

American Iron Car huh? Isn't that a road race car that is supposed to handle well? Is it still street legal? I'd still like to see it.

my car is street legal, and has the entire MM catalog on it, as well as a 750hp 347 going in it, i'll definatly give that thing a run for its money
