35w, 9007 bulbs (I got hi and lows which is a little more expencive but nice to have) and no you dont need the harness.

Also, I got 6000k which look super white with tinted housings. Some people claim they looked blue on their cars, so you might want something less than that if yours arent tinted.

Ok, Here are some updates. The HID's are significantly brighter...but not too bright. I went ahead with the 4500k lights and they are pretty damn white compared to the stock halogens. I'm not sure what's going on with the brights, but they appear to dim when I turn them on (I got the high/low kit). I'm going to check it out on the road in the morning to see if perhaps the wires are switched. I'm hoping the tint on the lenses cuts down on the glare and also hoping they don't look too "blue" to on-coming drivers.

I apologize in advance for the camera angles and lack of tri-pod. This is a simple point and shoot camera with the flash turned off.

Here is the halogens...

And the HID's...

Again, the halogens with the foglights on (you can see how much brighter they are than the tinted lenses)...

And the HID's with the foglights on (you can really see the color difference here)...

Here is the HID's with the fog's turned off...

And here is the HID's with the brights turn on. Notice the beam looks flatter and seems more focused. I'm not sure if this is because the high/low is hooked up backwards or if it's perhaps just a function of how the high/low works and maybe I need to wire it up backwards. Anyways...
