alirght iam a new proud owner of a 1986 mustang gt with t tops. I have msd 6a ingintion box and blaster coil. I put new wires in and i still got a miss fire. The other day i had to reseal the valve covers and put in a new throttle body gasket. I started it up and it ran for 3 mins with white smoke coming out then the motor just died. I tryed starting it up but its just cranks and tries to fire but don't get a good fire. Any suggestions would help me out alot.

Check that throttle body gasket. If it doesn't seal well between the TB and the EGR spacer it will let coolant into the intake. Which will cause the white smoke.

With a stock motor the coolant runs through the EGR spacer and like the shape said if you dont have a good seal with that new gasket thats the culprit. Also i would double check the firing order...good luck
