my engine is coming out, so of course this will the best time to get it done. id like to fill all the small holes and maybe some of the big ones. get it cleaned up and then painted. i dont know how to weld, but have access to one any time. ill have to learn or find someone that can help me. so what else do i need? and how did u guys do it?

I took some poster board and cut out the design I wanted, then transferred that to some sheet metal and cut and bent it to fit. Then I welded it in and used bondo to smooth out the rough spots.

If you don't want to go that far, just fill in the small holes that you don't need with the welder and use some sheet metal to fill in the larger holes. A light coat of bondo will smooth out any imperfections. You can also use bondo to fill in any holes you think you may need later. That's what I did with for the STB holes on the strut towers.
