Hi, looked at the stickers and didn't see an answer to this question unless I missed it. A year ago I switched over to 5 lug disc brakes on my fox and ran the original booster and Master cylinder. Now I'm paying for that mistake.
The rear pads are gone and the fronts still look good.
"I got bit by the residential check valve"
So I went to the zone and ordered a 93 cobra booster and checked out the
master cylinder. They didn't have the fittings for the lines where they go into the master cylinder. I didn't want to get stuck in the middle of this conversion without the parts I need (I'm a 1 hour drive away from a parts store)
I'm going to use a 94-95 master cylinder it looks like there are two different size lines. Where did you get your fittings for the ends of the brake lines.
what did you guys do when you did this conversion?

Mustang5L5 knows his stuff when it comes to brakes! I'm in the middle of my 5 lug conversion he's helped me a lot and I've read countless hours of posts as well. What year is your car? To fit the Cobra booster in my 87 I had to do A LOT of pounding on the strut tower and grinding at the holes. Easiest way was Mustang5L5's suggestion to take a drill and a sharp bit and angle it so it grinds the holes. I broke my Dremmel and a bit trying to do it with that lol. As far as the adapter I used the Maximum Motorsports MMBAK-3 kit it works perfect.

Order the maximum motorsports 2-3 kit. its basically a t-fitting with 2 hard lines that look like crazy straws. its plug and play and lets you convert without dealing with a flare tool or bending new lines. I did this swap about 3 months ago. I used a 94gt MC with a stock booster. I kept drums in the rear for now and so far everything still feels good. Car stops NOW.

I was pleased with mine. I found all the google results confusing. I got mine off the clasifides for 15 dollars and it made it super simple.

I was at the point of setting my car on fire and saying illegals had been using it as a urinal to the insurance company when I did mine. MM will never know my gratitude for making it such a simple swap. It even comes with instructions......not that I have ever read any. :D

LOL, I've been at that point a few times. The instructions came in handy because they also told me how to adjust the booster pushrod.
