Have you given the mechanic a chance to check the car since picking it up? If he's been in business this long, maybe he'll make everything right.

Sht happens at times though man, I know it's frustrating, but give the guy a chance.

You paid enough to have these problems fixed.

Now, if he dicks you around about making things right, that's a different story.

Maybe a bit of a pig. Try to get it fixed first through him, You paid for it, why not have it run right?

You're not even close to being beyond help man.

You have a small problem that can be fixed.

It may be eating you up right now, but it ain't a big issue.

Relax a bit. Mr Richter will help in such detail, with lots of diagrams and pics.

Ease up, address the issues, and fix them. You can do it, you just got to want to.

yeah you could have more serious issues.... like trying to engineer your own supercharger system or cutting a inline 6 engine block so you can get BBC roller rockers in it with an Australian cylinder head...... Just sayin.

FYI: I started out fixing cars because computers weren't common like they are now. The mechanical principles of a car aren't that hard to grasp; you see it move and do it's thing. It either works or it doesn't. No intermittent bugs or things that work one time but not the next.

I have been fixing computers for 36 years now, and have chased more intermittent problems with computers and electronics than I could ever remember. If you actually understand the electronics and principles behind computers, cars are simple. If you are one of those people who just assemble parts to make a computer and don't understand how and why they work, you will find this more difficult.

For sake of review, what is your current problem and what has been done to fix it?

I once built a Lego airport. Most technically difficult thing I've ever done. This coming from a guy that does micro surgeries on rodent bunionholes every day.

that is actually a pretty solid idle. you really need to check for engine codes.
besides the idle [which IMO isn't that bad] have you noticed any other issues??
