SN95 aftermarket VC owners: help needed

I have the mods listed in my sig, but with my Aeromotive fuel rails the intake will not clear. I added a 1/2" intake spacer, but I would like to get some new VC's to better clear my 1.6 rockers. Will a Trick Flow VC set fit and still have the oil fill clear the TB? I know if I use Fox VC's the fill neck needs bending to clear, but which direction? Straight forwards, left, right? I believe if I go forward the alternator is in the way. I also know some of the baffles inside are too big and need to be ground down. I bought Ford Racing VC's with the "Cobra" lettering and the milled grooves in them, but sent them back thinking I could find a set with a perfect fit. Is there a set out there for our forsaken children? If not, what works? I searched the forums here, but no one really recommended any brand or type.

The Trick Flow VC does not have an oil fill neck installed. You need to get the neck separetely and then you can install it to fit.

At least that is how mine came.

Where do you get the oil fill neck? Do you happen to have part #s for the VCs and the neck piece?

If you plan on using the Fox vc's I would not try to bend the neck due to seeing several other members say they broke their vc trying that method. After all, the vc is only cast Aluminum so it has to be kinda brittle.

I would cut the neck in half and then either splice it back with a weld or what I did was ...... use a ricer radiator hose that had several bends. Either way, you just position the top half however you need it to be for your combo.

Yea... unless you have a spare pair. I had 2 sets when i tried and broke it... I fixed it but still, I would do as Grady suggests.

www.andersonfordmotorsport.com they have the perfect set of chrome VC's just for your problem. They are tall enough to clear aftermarket rockers and with your spacer they are a good hieght to clera at the TB. The filler neck comes pre drilled and clears every thing. I have them with a stock intake set up and a buddy of mine has them on a TFS T/W set up with a spacer. Just a little grinding required where the ERG dips down. nice finish to, only 80$. gook luck

I was nervous about that. I also mocked up the engine today with the Steeda STB on there and my TB is about 1/8" away from hitting it without the intake tubing or the clamp on it. I guess my poly motor mounts and new UPR K member raised the engine a bit higher. The spacer doesnt help either. I have a friend who has a welding a fabrication shop, and I'm hoping he can cut and reweld the STB's front bar a little higher to clear the TB. I would hate to have something break after all this work, and I know things are going to move some in the engine bay. He may be able to weld the VC's for me also.
