Where do you get a banjo bolt for 97 Cobra front brakes (PBR Calipers). I was installing the cobra brakes on my 86 GT and discovered I was missing one bolt. All of the auto parts stores have the correct size, but only in coarse threads. The PBR calipers require fine threads. I went to the ford parts department and the guy there couldn't find a part number for them. He ordered a bolt from a GT caliper, but I really doubt it will work. Does anyone know where to get one, or have a ford part number for one?

You can new lines with the correct Banjo bolts and no need for an adapter from Maximum Motorsports.

I already have lines, I just need the bolt. But thanks I guess that is an option if I can't find one anywhere else.

In case anyone is intrested after several days of searching local parts stores and the internet I finally found a vendor who carries the correct banjo bolts.

www.breezeautomotive.com.

$11.95 for a pair with washers which is great because I was about to buy the maximum motorsports brake line kit for $75 just to get the bolts.

I beleive the 99+ PBR's on the GT/V6 use the same thread pitch as the 94-98 Cobra calipers.

Give me one min and i can confirm that since i have both calipers handy

EDIT: Yup, it's true. 99-04 GT/V6 calipers use te same thread pitch on the banjo bolt as a 94-98 Cobra calipers
