Its a 70mm unit for 19# injectors
I will be swapping into a 89 GT

I have read on here and other places that it works and is safe, i just wntd to double check and see if any one had any input or experiance with this swap.

Worked fine for me! As long as you are already Mass Air, can never remember if it was 88 or 89 when that was changed.

Check out Maryland Stangs write up in the very useful threads at the top of the page. Also do a search. I think jrichker has several write ups about it.

Works good, lasts a long time...

You need a flange adapter to fit the stock slip on air ducting that goes to the air box. Wiring plugs right in with no changes. Metal flange adapter - see http://www.kustomz.com/cat3.html . Buy the TR70 for $44.95.

Some other cars that can provide the proper MAF/sensor assembly...

1995-94 Mustang 3.8L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Crown Victoria 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1995-94 Mustang, Mustang Cobra 5.0L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Town Car 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-92 Grand Marquis 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
Evidently the –A1A, -A2A, AA, etc. on the end of the part number is a minor variant that did not change the operating specs. You should be able to ignore it and have everything work good.

I have had excellent results with mine.

I used one and it worked great. Instead of buying an adapter I machined the inlet side of the MAF so that it would accept a stock 3.5" dia. tube. You can machine the flange right off and you'll end up with a nice sealing surface. Unfortunately for me, I decide to go with 24 lb injectors during my HCI, so now the 94-95 piece just sits in the basement.

Will the Meter actually bolt up to the Stock Support Bracket or will it just be hanging in the Stock Intake Tract? Reason I am asking as I have 1 lined up to buy and just need to know if I need to fab up a new Bracket?

I purchased the MAF adapter for this on Ebay advertised for a "5.0" but it was not the right size. I had them to exchange it for the "94-04 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6 Air Intake Filter MAF Adapter" and that was the correct size. It works great.

You don't need the support bracket. Mine is held in place by the flex ducting and has worked good like that for several years.

Anyone done this recently? Notice any butt dyno?

Im going to go this route vs. Buying a MAF for the 24lb injectors that are on the car w/ the stock maf. @ $300 a pop. I dont need 24lb'ers anyway. So this 95 gt maf (new) and used stock 19's i can do for $100 or less. + gives me a reason to throw the systemax i got on.

The 94-95 V6 MAF is what I am running now, it works good, no problems, no MAF codes.

Ordered the MAF and adapter. The filter was only 5.00 more vs. Adapter by itself (i love ebay lol). I needed one bad anyways. I wanted a "race" filter that was $70. But this will work. Lol.

Went and checked my filter and intake tube size before ordering to make sure. Thought i remember it being odd at 3.25, but it wasnt. 3.5". But dang, stock fox MAF is soo small.

Edit: i got a fenderwell intake, not running it direct.

Im also going to deburr that lip off from the mold (on the maf) and make it smooth.

Edit: just realized air flow is the other way. So if its smooth on front, i wont be doing that. Lol.
