So how much difference do you think weight makes?

There's a hatch belonging to one of the MM+FF guys that runs 11.90s and only dynos at 300hp at the wheels. The key is being able to drop enough weight that you can safely add weight back in where you want it to aid in weight transfer. That plus slicks plus driving it with no mercy equals amazing time slips.

Our 292 rwhp 91 went 7.481 @ 90 in the 1/8th when it was set up for 1/4 passes. 7.48 should be an 11.8, maybe better!

I'll definitely add items for strength but will compare weights of those items, too. I'm only 163 but 6'4" so even if I put my backseat back in, it wouldn't do any good because no one can fit in the back, my seat's almost all the way back.

I removed most of the interior out of my Cobra for 1 trip to the track....did not notice 1/10th of a second difference. Just caused me hours worth of work!

Yeah this is a few years old....back then people were freaking out. It's an iron headed car too. I think it might have been Evan Smith's old car....it's a blueish hatch. The article has a pic of it pulling the wheels about 3 feet off the ground.

I know the car, the Cobra clone. It turned into his NHRA car correct? Ran low 11s with an iron headed motor.

I know a lot of guys who were in Mustangs when they first came out, and made their names in racing. I know a guy who was beating Big Daddy in the radial game before he got out of it. As a matter of fact he now has an 11 second GT40P car, and I have beaten him with my dads 91 at an event or two.
