So I bought a '92 GT today...

nice :nice:. I have the 93R #238 and I preordered the 91 white streetfighter and also picked up a 92 titanium(still waiting on it) but I'm going to have to get that color. I'm just getting into it but the gmp's are some nice pieces.

Hey Mike, did you see they have two new street racer models out? One is a blue/white strip or white/blue strip GT hatch with a built motor and Cobra R rims, the other is a metallic copper LX with a racing theme (built motor, Welds, etc.).

For GMPs I've got:
87 Notch
92 GT (gray)
93 limited convertible
93 Cobra (teal)
and my ol' '84 SVO is on your shelves now :)

That copper one I mentioned above will be on its way soon enough too.

I got more AutoArts I think, and of course a bunch of non-high end ones.

I did see them. I was gonna preorder the blue w/white stripes one, but i wanted to wait til they came out. Only 600 of each will be made...so might be a rare model.

Your little SVO is still doing nice :)

I'm still waiting for a black LX hatchback with pony wheels. I need a model of my car.

GMP also sells wheel sets now. They offer some nice "aftermarket" wheels and even Bullitts and Cobra R's. I sent them an email to see if they would fit the Mustang die casts but no reply.

These might look sweet on the '93 Cobra

Haha yea I'd seen them before. I know a guy who makes custom 1/18 diecasts of 'your car' but they're very costly. What's cool is he could do mine considerably easy now given that supercharged motors and Fox convertibles are easy enough to get. Granted they're still $100 apiece but hey...

I was going to pre-order a Street Fighter too but I'm glad I didn't now that I see the copper ones out. I may end up w/one later on anyway but I won't stress it.

Here's my AutoArt Saleens btw :) I finished the 3-color collection (didn't want the yellow coupe - yucky)

You can usually find those yellow ones on ebay for pretty cheap. You could trade, replcae the speedster via ebay, and end up with $10-20 pocketed (Put that towards a new one, haha!)

That's the one I pre-ordered they call the model streetfighter, I decided on the white one, although I'm sure I'll be be tempted to pick up the blue one soon enough .

I'm really liking the copper one also, the paint on it is nice.

Dave like the collection :nice:.

I have collected die cast models since I was a kid (only 25 now). So my old collection (still have it) consisted of some Franklin Mints (1/24th scale): 65 Mustang vert, 70 Chevelle, and a 57 Chevy custom with flames. I also have a lot of old Buragos, all 1/18th scale. Probably 30 total - lots of Ferrari's, Vette's, Porsche's, and a neat Viper GTS. Those don't have the detail these GMPs do, and I doubt they are worth much in comparison either.
