the bullet/torque thrust looking ones with tires for $500. Too bad I saw a set go for $300 the next day. Ah well, that's life. So what all do I have to do to put these on now? Will I need new front tires or will they fit? sorry the sizes are 17x8 wheels, 235/55R17 should be the size

You’ll need spacers for the front. The best way to determine the width of the spacers needed is to get washers and temporary .......stress temporally, not driven down the street at any high speeds!!!!!!!.....put them on as shims adding a washer until you get to the point that you have no interference with the wheel. Make sure you put the same number of shims/washers on each lug. you will also need to drop the car onto its suspension with the full weight of the car bounce the car by pushing down on the bumper to stabilize the suspension, the swing the tires back and forth, drive it over a few bumps...slowly and make sure it clears.

After you determine the best number of washers/shims, take them off and measure the stack. This will be the size spacer you need.

I hope that makes sense to you. To me this is the only way to get the right size, you can buy from vendors but you don’t know for sure. All cars are different so this will expel any dough of the size spacer you need and also let you know if the wheel studs will be long enough or if you need new ones.
