i have no idea who the mod was or anything but out of the blue i get a pm saying i need to delete my sn95forums banner in my sig. i cant have text and writing in my sig and the pic is to large and i have to correct it... i dont understand everyone who posts here has writing and pics in there sigs and how many guys have the sn95forums banners in your sigs?? do you guys have to remove them also? i feel like im being harrassed a bit and i dont think its very fair...

its not like i do wrong on the boards i try to make useful posts not crap replies but i feel that i cant do anything here without doing something wrong....i havent been very active on the boards here lately and im not sure how much i will be in the future...its sad to say because i have a lot of friends here

If it makes you feel any better I think that you post tons of useless crap. You always share your opinion about how you hate the 4 eyed Fox bodies when your opinion isn't really needed. I'm not trying to start any trouble, and I highly doubt that this is the reason for them wanting you to alter your sig, but they probably just don't want you to advertise for another Mustang site on thier website.

It's probably only because you have a link to a competing forum. It's actually a violation of the StangNet TOS to have it in your sig, and the mods can remove it if you don't. While I don't find offensive or anything, Mike Raburn might, so your best bet is to just remove it. Here's the rule:

BTW, just as a heads up, but having seen a screenshot of the mod control panel from the OT forum that one of the mods posted, you may be in some deep doo doo for this thread.

That whole idea of pointing out the other people around you speeding when you are receiving a speeding ticket, never gets you out of said speeding ticket.

I mean.....seriously.

By the way, I had a pic in my sig that was huge and I got warned about it. But....instead of crying about it..........I CHANGED it.

On the other hand, you're definitely NOT going to catch me with a link to a competing forum. I thought that was common sense.

I think I snorted when I read that one.

I have nothing useful to offer here.

Meh, just change it and move on. Its their forum, I guess we just have to follow their rules whether we like them or not.

I don't think there's a rule about complaining about the rules....is there?

Also, how is expressing your personal feelings about a specific model of Mustangs posting crap? Its just sharing an opinion that is ABOUT MUSTANGS. I mean, its not like posting about sitting cross legged till your legs fall asleep, then trying to run around the house?

There's no rule about complaining about the rules, however calling out a staff member may earn you some infraction points. Earn enough and you earn a ban. See the following picture from the OT forum (Banana Hammock Republic):

Four eyed mustangs are indeed ugly...Hope this helps.

On another note, it's stangnets territory and they probably just don't want you advertising for a competing site, which could cause them to lose revenue. Over on Montecarloss.com I had a sig pic of my cobra and they made me remove it which I thought was lame as hell.

I agree with parchisi here. Some of you guys posting here are being a tad rough on Trav unless there is something I missed. As to the rules? Rules is rules, period and this thread will get I am sure of it.
