Well i took my heads to a shop a few days ago to have them checked over and whatnot. I just need a little help finishing off the combo before i go any further. I'm putting gt40p heads, explorer intake and tb on my motor this winter. I just need to decide on what to do about the cam. I'm debating a few options here:
1. stock cam/1.7rrs (similar to Tmoss's combo)
2. TrickFlow stage 1 (or other cam)/stock rockers
3. stock cam/stock rockers aka cheap and do something later down the road (custom cam?)
Basically the budget is only gonna allow either a cam OR rockers at the moment. I'd like to know which would be a better choice for a daily driven mustang. I want to get low into the 13's bad. In your opinion, what would be better??
Oh also, will 1.7rr's clear 93 valve covers? will the trickflow spring kit cover all those options??
