And his house has been broken into. They took 7 guns total (three of which were my grandfathers) including his laser sited Glock, all of my step moms moms jewelry (passed down to her), one of his $2000 Breitling watches (makers of the clocks in Bentleys), and many more small items, and he is sure more once he gets the time to look around.

Here's the kicker:
My step sister has been giving them fits for years. Getting into trouble, dropping out of high school, and just causing them a lot of heart ache and pain. Last time they went on vacation, she gave her then boyfriend the code for the garage and told him to stay the week there! My father only found out by noticing some food and his sodas being gone.

They gave her one last change (her being 18 now) to prove to them that she was trustworthy in the house by herself. The one rule they gave her was to not have ANYONE in their home while they were gone. My step mother actually talked to my dad about making her stay at a friends or her biological fathers house while they were gone, but my DAD said no and to let her stay because he wanted to believe she was trustworthy..........

And here is where this story has a twist. My father is not stupid by any means. He's been a police officer for well over 35 years now and he knows everyone lies. So he takes no chances. He TOOK the door handle OFF the front door, and gave my step sister one of the garage door openers, forcing her to only use the garage door to access the house. To me, that would have threw a flag, but to my dip **** step sister, it doesn't.

One hour after them leaving for their cruise, the motion-sensitive video recorder my dad placed in the garage records her entering the house with her new boyfriend. The next morning, they both leave. Two days later, the video recorder captures my step sister, her boyfriend, and two convicted felons entering the house. One convicted for cocaine trafficing, the other for BURGLURY!

When my father got a call on Thursday while still in Mexico from my step sister about the house being robbed, he knew right away she had something to do with it. So now three people have been arrested in the burglury, and we believe she might be next on the polices' list. It's sad to see such a young person take such a hard road, but it serves her damn right. Don't **** with my dad! :owned:

What a dumbass! I hope your parents get their stuff back. Good thinking on your dad's part to make her use the garage where the video camera is. Did she know the video camera was there?

wow.....i have the samething pretty much happening with my fathers house and my loser brother! Except....my brother is the one stealing everything from the house! Some people are just losers by choice!

your dad is a wise man. the camera thing did it all.

props to your pops. it just sucks his house had to get robbed. i hope you and your family have good luck reacquiring all the guns and jewelry. it has to be a bummer to loose all that family posessions to your own daughters friends.

Thanks guys, for the kind words. They haven't recovered anything yet, as all three are being held on drug possesion charges until all the evidence is in place to put a bench warrant out on them.

My dad is probably the smartest person I know. Hardly anything gets by him. I inspire to have the wisdom he has one day!

His gun safe is next to his bed so he can use them when needed... say a small army tried to take his house....... :) What good are they if they're locked up when you're being shot? :)

If they were in a safe, and noone was gonna be there to use them, then it should have been locked... i think i see what mustanghunter50 is saying.
