So SN95 Cobra, GT, AND V6 rear calipers are the same?

Somebody told me that Cobra, GT, and V6 rear brake calipers were all the same on SN95's just different size rotors. Is that true?

yes, the cobras use a different (thinner) pad and different brackets, but thats all.

Caliper is the same.

The pads on the Cobra are thinner due to the thicker rotor. They are just GT/V6 pads shaved down a bit. Worn GT pads will fit fine.

The U=shaped bracket that holds the pads and the caliper bolts to is different. On the Cobra it is connected in front for more strenght and has a wider slot for the thicker CObra rotor. The Gt/V6 bracket can just be grinded slightly wider. Not much to really take off.


And of course, the axle brackets, rotors and anti-moans are different. Dust shields are the same
