Still working on my combo. I have my shortblock sitting in the garage. The rest of the new combo is in my sig. And if all runs well, I may do an Edelbrock RPM2 or TFS R upper or maybe a TFS box upper.

switching over to a MAC x-pipe is first on my list.

then i'll hit the dyno to get a basic safe tune out of her.

then some lower control arms.

oh ya, the carputer setup will be the big one for me

Nice idea on the MR2 Paul. Well for this coming year I'll be doing some more work on my own sub 2000 pound corner carver that I recently completely redid lol

And as for my Cobra, it will receive an ABC front lip, a respray on some of the items on it, some new front buckets, and the new engine combo's 50\50.

Mines done til it launches the motor...plus Im kinda tired of it...I may just leave it stored for a few years as I'm not selling it..

But I did talk the wife into getting a Vette...
She's wanted a vert for awhile now and I been looking at Vette's for a few years and always wanted one...If things pan out, this Summer I'll have a nice C4 or C5 to play with....Never had any Chevy power...

17 x 9/10.5 Black Bullitts
Eibach Sportlines
Cobra Front Brakes
GT40 heads (porting the crap out of em, now)
Exploder Intake
Custom Cam
H-pipe/Headers

Got most of the parts. Need a 4x4 to use as the "winter beater". Looking for that, now.

I would like to, but my cash flow says otherwise. I'll be upgrading the rear end and brakes this winter, and possibly some suspension parts. There's a few other things I would like to do, but I'll have to wait and see what my bank account looks like in a couple months.

Even though the power is a little disappointing, i'm going to leave the engine the way it is. Instead , since the shortblock is built like a brick ****house, I'm going to slap on a Procharger and intercooler and shoot for at around 600hp. I really gotta upgrade the brakes, so I'll go with the cobra kit. I also gotta fix my exhaust..it hangs down too low, and once I do that, Eibach Sportlines, shocks, MM C/C plates. Probably install 2003 cobra control arms to boot. How will I pay for all of this you ask? $30,000 cadet loan at 1% interest. Oh yeah, and for sure I'm getting a paint job.

I'll be following your progress as I want as much info on the Brodix5.0 heads as possible. I was thinking of being the ginny(sp?) pig for these heads but you steped in (Thank you ) and are going to run them.

Get to the track and see what it will do n/a...then try out the 150shot...then the 175 depending on were the 150 puts me and if everything is kosher.

I am done really with this until I blow the t5, I have the money set aside for an astro/g-force super alloy set.

I want to get the bullit shocks/struts to match the springs and sell the SSM's and go with the UPR upper and lowers (the 199$ set) this winter though.

I am slowly going to gather parts for a rear-end build but that will prob. take at least a year or so.

Step up not really...but step up to some results YEAH.

BTW- a cool winter thing is going on at a local shop. They have a mustang dyno and a 1/4 program and have a winter dyno drag league going. 20$ and you get like 4 passes on Fri. nights. Seems to be fairly acurate but that seems to be on if you know the weight of the car (they enter that into the computer to set the load on the dyno).

Got an explorer intake thats waiting to go on, hopefully i can find some GT40p's soon and do all of that before spring. I'm planning on getting some wheel spacers for when the cobra r's go back on, and i need new headlights/corners/fogs. And a paintjob would be great if i can get my dad's freind to do it for cheap.

Choose thy cam wisely. I had alot of problems with my KB and making good power on my 331. Switched to a centrif and picked up 160hp.

My problems where due to the cam. Too high in the RPM range....and by 5500 the KB was past done with high boost #'s. Very easy to overspeed the KB.

I was just wondering who is going to be the movers and shakers this year? Who will do something new and spectacular? Who's planning a sick build up, etc? We've had some wild builds/combos in the past but I want to know who will be next to step things up? Let's hear it!

Good luck to anyone who can do something away from the normal stuff we see ALL the time on the site:

Exhaust, HCI, 306, 331, 347, 408, 418, underdrive pulleys, Tweecers, hoods, bodykits, superchargers and turbos, nitrous, gears and whatever and my personal favorites: "Hey everyone, LOOK, new rims that are EXACTLY the same as the other 15 varieties out there for Mustangs, that everyone else already has! They sure do look different on my car though."

It's sort of the same recycled stuff over and over again.

I'd love to see something different and unique... like an AWD 'Stang or a quad turbo 'Stang or really wild. Bounce ideas around and see what comes out...
