I looked under the car and its on the 1st hook more towards the engine, I want to pull it and bring it to the next hook. Do I have to make it really have some slack from the firewall adjuster first?? See the problem is Where I want it grabbing in the middle, it has slack and it rattles when foot isnt on the pedal. Its hitting underneath from vibration and so on. When I set the firewall adjuster to not rattling anymore, it grabs too high and I dont like that. So if I put it on the 2nd hook, wont that make the cable tighter so I can adjust it better more toward the floor? I want to know if this will work??

either way you do it, with the FW or the steeda hook... if its tighter... it will engague higher in the arc... cant do anything about that. it shouldnt have slack in it and still disengague... so that kinda sounds odd. either way, just play with it.

it has slack where i want it, but then it rattles the actual clutch pedal, thats the only bad thing, when foot is off the clutch it would vibrate/rattle underneath, the pedal.

I'm having the same problem as well with a rattle under acceleration...I can't pinpoint where it's coming from...

Its the pedal banging into the clutch fork or whatever you call it. I think I have a fix maybe, ducktape alot around it with a little piece of cushioning or something.

You shouldn't have slack in your clutch cable. You need a peddel hieght adjuster to solve the problem.

I know someone that has made one and it works good I will try and get him to post some pics.

lol, i have the steeda clutch pedal adjuster, its not working good. I adjusted the pedal with that to be pushed in more. I want the cable snugged on its own. What if I put the cable on the 2nd hook on the quandrant?
