I only had 2 hits from a CL add and one of them bought it. She paid asking price, but I had to replace the cv joints. It took me 2 hours and about $150 bucks in parts.

The bad part is the girl wanted to pay with a personal check. So I took her to the bank and the teller took the check, verified the funds, then cashed it and deposited it into my account. Supposedly the girl had lost her ID and could not get a cashiers check for that much.

I should have walked on the entire deal. I am still waiting for the funds to show in my account. But according to the bank staff there is no way for her to get it back.

Personal checks are usually 'cashed' in at the end of the day in large batches, but it may be a different situation since you did the transfer at the bank. It should show up tomorrow morning at the latest into your account, and if not, call the bank and start asking questions...

Usualy with a situation like that you go to her bank and cash the check there and walk away with cash....no waiting.

it was a really goofy situation. the check showed in my account this morning.
