Sold Vortech/bought Turbo Kit.... Do I Need. Diffetent Gears? I Have 4:10s Now.

With my recent purchase of Turbo kit and big fuel system upgrades, I've had it in the back of my mind that my 4:10s may be an issue. Do they gotta go? If so, what should I run? I was thinking 3:55s.

331's or 355's. my car will blow the tires off in 2nd gear ( 1.46 second gear ratio in the c4) with a 331 and 28" rear tire!

if you want to easily spin the tires in 4th gear at 100mph, then yes keep the 4.10's. lol. 3.55s would be my max gear on a turbo 4.6.

I'm with these guys. 3.31 or 3.55's max.

Switch to 3.27's. Turbo cars do not need steep gears.
