It was a long day doing this swap. The donor car was a 97 Cobra. The rear end came out pretty easily. The only problem came with the 97 Cobra that was getting my IRS. The IRS bolted on his car perfectly, but the brake lines was a pain. My car was done in a matter of hours but the 97 took most of the day fabing and buying some brake lines for it. If it was a 99+ car then it would of been a piece of cake since the 99+ lines are the same. I love this solid axle, no hop I can launch it hard and theInfamous IRS drivetrain clunk is gone. I bought a aluminum driveshaft and aftermarket Upper and Lower control arms that was installed at the same time as the solid rear. Another plus is that we both had 4.10's and Magnaflow catbacks . Special thanks to Shawn and Greg of DPR.
