i want to relocate my gas cap inside my trunk(on my 65 coupe) so that nobody can steal my gas or put something in it. i would like to have a billet style cap on the outside that does do anything, and to fill the tank i would have to open my trunk. has anybody done this or know how i could do this?

i did this,

i left the stock outside cap on and cut the pipe to the tank, went to the junk yard and found a spout that goes straight up and used the rubber sleve to put it together.

you need to get a newer spout that has a vent tube on the side of it, that you could run through the floor of your truck to let out the fuel vapors or you car will smell like gas durring fuel slosh... as me how i know..
