Hey everybody........quick question for you. I've got an '03 GT Convt. Upgrades musically include a Panasonic head unit, Memphis 6.5" components up front, 2 Audiobahn subs in a sealed box in the truck, all run by a 1600 watt Mobile Authority amp, screwed to the back of the box. My problem is when the bass hits, my ENTIRE trunk and sidewalls vibrate and rattle. It is SSSSOOOOOO annoying. Over the past couple of months, I have been trying to gain the knowledge to build a fiberglass enclosure into the spare tire well. I would cover the ENTIRE floorbed of my car in Dynamat extreme, then build it on top of all that. Will having a fiberglass enlosure eliminate all rattles in the trunk?? How much better would it sound? Does anyone have any advice to any websites that would be of any help in building this closure or any books to read?
Another thing.......behind the back seat, in between the trunk space, there are two metal boxes ( they look like amps) directly under the vert top. What are those? I thought those were the motors for the electric top. If they are the stock amps for the Mack 460 that WAS in the car, can I remove them without damaging any electrical components?? I could then put my 1600 watt amp right there, it would be perfect, cuz that thing is damn big.
One last thing......I am going to put on an air horn in my stang to scare all those rice burners out there to poo in their pants when I drive by. Where could I bolt down the compressor, and where should I put the horns?? I was thinking of putting the two subs in the spare tire well, then bolting the compressor on the left side of trunk, and something else (any ideas) on the right side of trunk. What do you guys think??

I've only experenced it once, yesterday, when I was showing it off to my friends and I blasted the bass and the volume. Then it ratted but, I don't listen to it that loud so I'm fine with it.
