I have a 92 coupe with a full SN95 5 lug, as well as 4 wheel disc conversion. Am looking at a set of 17X9 bullitt wheels with 24mm offset and need to know if this will work. Can anyone help me out?

What kind of axle did you use on the rear?

I'm assuming that "full SN95 5 lug" may mean SN95 length axles...

I do not believe 24mm is enough offset for the rear... but it should be fine for the front.

I'm not sure about the rear axles guys. Any way to tell without pulling them out?

With 94-98 shafts a 17x9 with a +24mm offset will still sit inside the wheel well. They will be right at the edge with a 275. I'd run a Nitto since they run small that way you'll have the most clearance. IF you get Summitomo 275's they will have less clearance since they run wide.

Your best bet for clearance and overall look is a +45mm offset 17x9 wheel.

Not really a wheel type of pic, but this is all I got right now. This is a 97 axle with 17X9 +24mm and a 275 Summi. I'm going Nitto 275 once this beast is done.

And yes, the right side sits up higher than the left, and I don't know why. It pisses me off. Next year this things is getting brand new springs.

Just found out that the car has..

Motorsport 31 Spline Axles

Ford Explorer 31 Spline Carrier

Does this tell us anything about the length of the axles?

Not really. We now know that your car has 31 splines axles which is great, but Moser makes axles in any spline/length/lug combo you need. It's best to just borrow some wheels and see how they look if you don't wanna pull the shafts out.

Ok, just got more info from the prev owner. Seems I was incorrect!! The car has the M-2300-K - Ford Racing 5-Lug Cobra Brake Conversion Kit installed.

But I guess that still does not help with the axle lengths.

Ford Racing Performance Parts - [Part Details]

Looks like this M2300K kit comes with rear axles and it also says that 17x8 wheels are recommended. If this is the case, I'd say you have SN95 axles. You can still run 17X9 wheels and what bests suits your set up is on with the S197 (+45mm offset) Many of these wheels are available at Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle
