I thought you had a tach on the steering column in that thing?

Anyway...I got some new emblems for my decklid. Gonna ditch the "Thunderbird" and "TurboCoupe" emblems, and replace them with a Ford oval on one side and an emblem on the other side that says "TURBO" in block letters with "Electronic Fuel Injection" under it :thumbup:

Now I just gotta figure out which one's gonna go on what side.

edit: A TC weighs a good bit more than a fox. TC's are usually around 3600-3900 lbs.

sounds sweet red lx, goodluck with your bird too i had a boost gauge on the steering column but now i have a pillar, i'm gonna be putting a lunar monster tach in it soon thou.

Red - Ford emblem on the left, turbo on the right.

Well, the way a thunderbird is stock it says "TurboCoupe" on the left and "Thunderbird" on the right. Problem is that the Thunderbird emblem is held on with pins so there's holes behind it, which the Ford oval covers but the Turbo emblem really doesn't.

Hmm, I guess put the Ford emblem on the right? Could you fill the holes?

I could fill the holes with my welder, but it's not really worth it. I think the Ford emblem will just go on the right side.

Hell, the mustangs have the Ford emblem on the right side and the LX emblem on the left side.

i was gonna fill my holes in and shave my keyhole on the trunk but i just put a turbocharged emblem over the holes.

I say keep her black. I may one day step up to Krylon! but for now I use the $.88 wal-mart brand. A few weeks ago my hood fell off while i was triing to bolt it on scratched the crap out of the hood fender and bumper. whipped out a can and in 2min. it was good as new
