I know this is in the wrong section but I thought I would post some pics of my 67 since I usually only post in the 4.6 section anyways and the Classic talk section is has no traffic.

Currently in the process on rebuilding the transmission and putting on some ceramic coated longtubes.

Thanks man!! I live in North Carolina about and hour north of Raleigh in Caswell Co. I see your Fastlane icon. Aren't they located in Raleigh? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to find someone to put the Headers on this car. With the 390 big block there isn't hardly any room and the motor has to be pulled to put them on.

Does Fastlane work on projects like this or do they just cater to late model cars?

they should be able to take care of you. there is a 60's stang in the shop right now. not sure what it is getting though. they are actually loctaed in Benson.

i'm about 45 min south of Raleigh. i do go up there a LOT, there are some badass street cars that meet up every friday night during the summer out by the airport.

BTW since you're local you should check out

lots of NC guys on there.

Wow thanks for the responses guys. She is my baby and I will never sell her no matter what. Nothing beats the feeling of driving her around on a nice Sunday afternoon.

Thanks SaleenGT2001. If I'm not mistaken I have a pretty good buddy thats a mechanic there. His name is Ray and I wasn't sure if it was Fastlane or not. I haven't seen him in awhile and with the couple other mustang shops that used to be in that area I wasn't certain. I talked to Ray last week and he did say that they had a 67 coupe in the shop with the same big block 390 motor as my car and he said it was a pain to work on. He acted like he didn't want to work on my car but he said if I brought it up there that he guess he'd have to. haha. Well thanks again for the info.

oh crap, you know Ray!?!?

he's a good guy. i ALWAYS give him crap when i'm up there. anyways i would deff take it up there now just so i can hear him complain about having to do something:D
be sure to ask him about how the window louver fell off Chucks Mach 1...........

there is Haywood's shop down the road i think tahts the only other mustang shop in the area.

Hell yeah I know ole Ray. He installed my blower on my GT when he worked at Haywoods, and then he did a bunch of side jobs for me on it when he was a mechanic at Ford. He is the only guy I let work on my GT. The other shop I was thinking of is True Blue but isn't that the shop that Fastlane turned into?

Anyways if he finnally gives me the go ahead I'm ready to bring the 67 up there, and i'll def give him hell about the louver. He's a good guy and fun to joke around with.
