After installing my LT's yesterday I ran into a few problems that need attention.
1. First would be that the o2 sensor wires dont reach. I remember reading that you could just unclip them from any brackets they were hooked to and connect them.
2. I need a couple of parts that I hope some of you guys have lying around. One would be a dipstick, and the TB spring. My buddies were taking off the bracket attached to the factory dipstick tube and when they used a plyers and some persuasion, 2 holes now sit in the middle of the tube and its bent in a way that the dipstick itself wont go down into the tube. Anyone have this stuff. Im too lazy to go to a junk yard.
Overall the install was easy, just tedious. Put 2 spark plug wires in the wrong place so I had to do the firing order all over again. And a vacuum hose decided to pop out from under the manifold so it sounds like I got a nasty cam in the car.
The steering shaft is a little too close to the headers for comfort but there is no touching when I turn the wheel. It is very close though. I might be able to fit a piece of paper inbetween the two.
And the car is so quiet on the inside now. Its awsome. I would reccomend them to anyone.
Anyways, Ill get some pictures up soon as well as some new track times. Alls I really need is an answer to the first question.
