I'm not looking for an extreme drop, just enough to fill some fender well space. I'm sticking with my 10 holes so i can't rely on my wheels to do it. I've got full lengths too so i dont wanna be dragging every time i hit a bump. I'm looking for an agressive handling combo, but i cant afford control arms and all that so i'm starting small.

Pics are always nice, so whore away!! Also, if anyone has any special installation tips, they're welcome too. I heard a while back about a kid getting killed by a spring that flew out, so i'm open to advice.

well as much as i hate to say this ford sells a kit for a 1inch drop but with full lengths your gonna drag. i would go with coilovers you can adjust them anyway you want front and rear.

P.S. how bout some pics of that coupe??

LOL, it's not much to look at....crappy paint, rusty doors, hole in the back bumper, but here goes:

It's got the typical 5.0 saggy ass, and the front end sits like a truck. She's not a lot to look at, but like all great things in life, it's what's on the inside that counts :nice:

Tokico makes a spring/shock/strut package with progressive rate springs for $400. The springs are supposed to be a 1.25-1.50" drop. I was actually going to buy this, but with gas prices the way the are, I have to sell my car.

I don't know if they're $400 from a vendor, but new on ebay they sell for $400.

See man, no offense but your car has the assdrag too! It's not that i want the "Camaro jack-up" of the mid '80s, but i want the back to sit level with the front, if not 'slightly' higher than the front. Maybe i should get drag shocks for this? I'm more concerned about corning than i am staight line hook, and i'll sacrifice some ET for better handling.

I've got Eibach's with 50/50 drag shocks in the rear, mine seems to sit pretty level...

hijack.....
Could I put stock springs in the back to fit Slicks, or would it look dumb on the street?

That's what I went with.
The H&R's lowered the car 1".

Oh, you SUCK!! I am SO jealous, I want my car to look JUST like yours when it grows up (except the T-tops!). Nice ride, you make the Fox bodies proud!
:hail2:

P.S.- Back to the original question, I have the Steeda Competition springs and my buddy with an 03 Cobra is jealous of the stance on mine (he has springs ordered for his). If you want handling, these are tough to beat- NO perceptible body roll.

ALMOSTSTOCK are'nt you the original owner of your car? That would rock so much to be the only person to ever screw around with my car.

1993SSP, your car is sweet! I'm wondering what that ride height would look like with 15s. It's nice to see another SSP though. What's the handling like with the FMS B springs? Is everything else factory? PITA to install?

I run the motorsport springs with my car, and it actually sits lower in the nose than it does in the tail, a rare thing for a foxstang. But I need the tire clearance in the rear, 17's with sn95 brakes. I'd drop a pic, but it's currently apart on account of Bambi. I hate deer!!!!!!!
