Hey everyone. I'm fairly new to rear wheel drives in general, but to my understanding there are conventional differentials and 'posi' differentials. In the chiltons manual it says my car has a "traction lock" rear end. That is probably just fords brand name for a positraction rear end. My question is, when I go around a corner sharp at low speeds (making a U turn for example) and gas it, I hear the tires spin, however the car doesn't "WHIP out" it feels that only one spins. My dads corvette on the other hand would whip out and probably spin out. lol We counted my rear end ratio with rotations of the wheels to axle (or something) and calculated a 3.27 ratio. When the car is jacked up, both wheels spin the same direction when you spin them. Sorry for the "NOOB" question, just trying to become familiar with these cars. Thanks alot for your help
