So I was looking at getting one inch spacers for the rear wheels but not if I have to cut down the stock lug stems. Does anyone know if they have to be shortened for 1" spacer when using the stock Cobra wheel? Guess I could pull off the wheel and see if there are holes between the lug holes but thats too much work:D

um, youre gonna need longer studs with that big of a spacer, unless you get the bolt on kind, which are designed to be used with the stock wheel studs.

Ug......yeah 1" spacers bolt to the car then have new studs on them with the stock studs recessed inside of the spacer. I needed to know if the stock studs are longer than an inch and if so do the stock wheels have holes between the bolt holes for the stems to stick out into.

They are and some say MAY need trimming and some dont say anything. They will be hubcentric for rangers and explorers too, so many different wheel options.
The ones im looking at on ebay are $70 shipped and 1" 6061 Billet with 1/2" studs and lugnuts. They are also hubcentric.

Cool thanx gearbanger, I keep telling everyone Canadians are useful :D

On rare occasions, we come in handy. :D

If worse comes to absolute worse, you could always replace the stock studs, with shorter ones. Wheel studs aren't all that expensive to replace

I personally think you'll be alright without having to change studs though. The little bit of "nub" at the end should be recieved but the holes between the lugs on the stock wheels.
