Im pretty sure the thread/seat/etc is different for each head. You need a explorer/gt40 head style plug. Search the forums for recommended plugs(turbomustangs and corral have many threads)
Or just tell the guy u have a 98 explorer with the 5.0 and get some autolites. All 8 for less than $10. Great performance.
