Special Bolts for UD Crank Pulley ??

Anyone know if there are special bolts to be used when installing the Under Drive Crank pulley ??

I installed one on my 89 a couple years back and I remember I had a difficult time accessing the bolts. The bolt heads were too close to the outer edge of the pulley and a socket was not able to go over them.

Ideas ???

Allen head fasteners.

Yep, allen heads are used. They sit close to the inner wall of the pulley, but do allow just enough room to be able to get a good tightening.

if my memory serves me correctly i used the allen head header bolts, but i'm getting old.

You can use some aftermarket header bolts as well. That way you can use a 7/16" socket because most people don't have allen sockets.
