I have 3.55 gears programmed into my chip from KB. I'm going to be going up to 3.73 gears tomorrow. I've had the Speed Cal installed for years but with the dip switches set to 0's since the gearing/speedomoter was fixed in the chip.

So is the Speed Cal not able to be set from 3.55 to 3.73? You would think that would be an available setting since Mach I's and Cobras come stock with 3.55's. I REALLY don't want to have to mess with sending my chip back to KB :(

Awesome :nice: Thanks. Ok, I have no idea what the Speedo Gear Teeth value is.. lol. Is 19 pretty much universal? I also get a different value when I put in stock 295/35/18 tires to the 305/35/18 Nitto's I have now. I wonder If I should even mess with that value since it's probably been off this whole time anyway :)

Oh yeah, and are all Speed Cal dip switches the same? I got mine from Dallas Mustang about 6 years ago.

i hope their all the same. you could try the different settings for the wider tires and see if the speedo is off, if not its only a few switches u need to click around

and ya i think 19tooth speedo gear is stock

How accurate is this gear calculator for you guys? Even after the Speed Cal dip switch adjustments my speedometer doesn't seem to match up with this gear calculator

Does mine having Saleen guages possibly make the Speedo Gear a different value?

same thing happened to me, the calc didnt work. Call them up, they are real nice guys. They'll ask you ur tire profile, size, gears and other stuff and tell you over the phone a code that will be perfect.

I think I might know what the problem is. What are the stock tire/rim sizes for a 2000 GT? When KB reflashed my computer to stock I bet the set the tire sizes to I'm guessing a 17" wheel?
