Speedometer doesnt work...

I gotta do two things. Put in the new 23 tooth speedo gear and also make the speedometer work.

When i hit bumps the speedometer bounces. So i think the cables loose. Does anyone have a how to on either of these. I dont know what the cable looks like or where to find it.

If this has been covered and thats why im not getting responses someone post a link please. I searched but came up with nothing good.

It's a cable on the drivers side of the trans, it has a fork shaped clip that holds the speedometer sensor to the trans. One bolt holds the fork on, remove it, pull the speedo gear, unclip it, and reverse the process.

You can then follow it through the firewall to the speedometer itself.
