Put the spintech pros on today. They are kinda of tame with my x-pipe and cats. Great sound but would sound better without the cats. I was hoping for a litle more raspy sound at low RPMS. Deep rumble like flowmasters at low rpms. Sounds great after 2000rpms more like borlas or bassani.

Wow. You think the Pro-Streets are tame? I must either be getting too old or you're deaf I never had so many police officers give me dirty looks on the road as I did with my Sportsmans and Mac o/r H-pipe.

I am actually getting ready to swap my Magnaflows back out for another pair of Sportsmans. Yes, I know I need help. This will be my 3rd catback setup (4th counting OEM) and the car has 5200 miles. But the Spintechs sound and will sound even sicker with my cams. The Magnaflows hide the lope too much.

spintechs are awesome sounding mufflers. I have pro streets and a prochamber. I think that below 2k they almost sound like flows...but after that a sound all their own. I have only driven my car like 150 miles since I have put them on and I have had more complimants and the what exhaust do you have comments already. When you crack into them, its like heaven is coming out of your tailpipes......it will scare people but the sound is so clean. They are completely quiet at idle and have very little to no drone. But at soon as you give it the foot, they bark. I highly recommend them to anyone. I noticed a difference when I put the muffs on more so then my prochamber.

opening up

My spintech mufflers are starting to open up a little more today. They seem to be getting louder . I'm starting to get more of the raspyness I wanted. I'm very pleased with the sound. People are starting to look around.

How is the best way to recort a sound clip?

I'm definitely going to get the Pro Streets, I just need to do my gears first. I'm hoping the PS's and my 'Packs will swap out with minimal fuss.

Let us know how it works. I have the packs as well and was wondering how hard it would be to swap out w/ a different muffler.

spintechs

spreadman- I listened to all of your combos when I was trying to decide on mine. That is what made me get the prochamber. That backed with the spintech prostreets makes a sick combo. sound is like nothing I have ever heard. you won't be disappointed at all. By the way, my car sounds nothing at all like those sound clips...maybe there is a big difference between the pro streets and the sportsmans but mine sounds much deeper.....and better...haha maybe i'm a little bias.

Where is the best place to get a set of Spintechs? I am going with the UPR X pipe and am wondering if these would sound good with that setup. I have heard that straight through mufflers sound best.

Spintech makes the Sportsman Street which says it would go good with one or no Cats. Is this a straight through muffler.

Thanks for the help.

The Spintechs are chambered. They use a different method for the chambers as opposed to Blowmasters. In the big muffler shootout in 5.0 or MM&FF, they were only ~2hp behind Magnaflow which lead the pack. I'm willing to trade my lope-muffling Magnaflows for something that will make the car sound

I had Sportsmans with an o/r H before and it was pretty darned loud. I can't imagine the ProStreets. I'd like to hear a pair in person to see how they compare to the Sportsmans.

I changed out my packs for flowmasters because the packs kept popping like a truck.

The spintech mufflers fit great on the magnaflow catback system.
Its getting a richer sound now after a few days of driving.

The prostreets are definately loud. But in a great way. I ordered mine directly from spintech and they were 70 bucks a piece and 20 to ship them to maryland from cali.
