I haven't looked at the oem arms yet-too cold. Any advice? I notice one eye on the arms is offset. Which way does the offset go?
The instructions that came with them are real generic.
It's obvious from looking at the stock LCAS which way round they go as only one way makes the LCAs align but this may help although these are Metco arms:
Just ignore the torque setting there though - it's 127lb/ft both ends with the car bearing it's own weight and fitted dry. Just a light squirt of synthetic lube will do the job. Mine actually creak a little because I didn't tighten them enough to start with (it's hard because you need the leverage so the car has to be up on a ramp and the forward bolts are on the outside of the car so much harder to get at even on a lift.
Chock all the wheels to try to stop the boltholes moving out of alignment as this can make the job a real sod even removing one side at a time.
