Taking the truck in to get the timing worked out today but ive read that I should set the timing with the SPOUT connecter out, then reinstall it when I'm done.

Where and what is it exactly? heh. Also, should I remove it when I zero the engine itself in or when I'm getting the distributer where it needs to be?

the spout is a little grey or black plug that is very near the distribor harness. Its a little piece of plastic that plugs into the dist harness. Do not disconnect the distributor, rather, gather up the elec harness from the dist and finger it along until u come along this little plastic "spout"

Yea....the spout connector isnt actually a connection at all. Its simple a small wire with a dead end grey plug cap on it that is part of the distributor harness. Find the TFI connection that plugs into the distributor and then just trace it back until you find the small grey cap on a 3 inch long dead end wire. good luck man
