I am getting ready to install my Eibach springs and have a few questions. I have heard of a method for removing the springs, but just want to make sure that it will work. I was thinking about putting the car up on jack stands, supporting the a-arm with a floor jack, removing the strut, and then slowly lowering the a-arm until the spring falls out. Installing would just be the reverse. I did do a search and found a few different methods, but I do not want to unbolt the a-arm and I cannot find or afford a Ford spring compressor. Will this work?
