Squealing like crazy! Throw out bearing?

Yesterday as I was driving home, the engine would start to squeal a little when I pushed in the clutch. By the time I got home it was a full blown squeal that would continue regardless of if the clutch was engaged or not. Also, the clutch petal is getting harder and harder to engage.

I don't have a garage to pull the transmission off and poke around, so I would really like to know exactly what the problem is before I take it to a shop... I read through the forums and am unsure if it's a throw-out bearing or something completely different... any ideas?

Sounds like a TOB to me! Get a Ford replacemet TOB and get your clutch done too while you have the transmission out.

Hey Thanks man. I got a clutch kit and took it to a friends house this weekend. It runs like new now... not a sound, and the clutch is perfect... I appreciate the diagnosis!
