its onlline who gives a crap, Im not writing a resume or a term paper. I could type 70 WPM in H.S. But that also comes w/ alot of typo's. When its important I take my time, when its talking to you guys its not like I proof read before I post

PS: you need new material, you have used that one twice in the past week. LAME!!

Hey, guys I'am back. Lost the internet on Friday when the thunderstorms came through.

Fred, I did gain 100ft of TQ at 3100 rpms. So my tuning did help. I'am going to put some timing back in so hopefully I can gain a little more. I can get more peak HP by just leaning out the very top, but really not neccesary. The average is whats impressive. I think people put to much into peak #'s. Yeah, I could get another 5-10HP, but it runs good now, so I'am happy.

Mike came over on Saturday and we did a 3rd gear pull down my road. He needed a datalog for his tuner. I must say that thing is a beast. We were both shaking when we were done. It was friggen scary, that car hauls ass. Looks nice under the hood. Can't what to see what kind of numbers he will put up when it's tuned...

You actually picked up 100 ft/lbs? thats alot and will make a huge difference.

Ya if you put a ruler up to the graph, you can see it. Though the old runs I started them around 2500-3000rpm. Which is too high. around 2k is the best. I guess it feels different. Hard to tell. I'am wondering how the timing thing will help my low end. Let me know when you get one. I can really help you out. I'am starting to get to the top of the learning curve.. :D

ya I wasnt refering to your peak #'s...I was looking at your mid range difference. It looked like you leaned it out a couple of points but hp/tq didnt change much..Like I said this computer isnt the greatest so I probably cant see the difference. Congrats though on the 100ft/tq. Thats alot and ought to be real fun when you punch it... :nice:

Oh, I know you weren't referring to my peak #'s. I was just blabbing... I got the A/F almost straight from 3500 to 5500. So, I'am happy with that. She runs about 11.5 A/F. I'ave got a little lean spot at 2800, I'll see what I can do with that. Finally feel better about this tuning stuff. For a while it was kicking my ass. I'll have to drive it with the stock tune and then my current tune to see if I can feel a difference.
