True...

That said, you guys are now seeing why I don't like labelled cams. As I said earlier and many times before, look at the cams specs and go from there...

I emailed MPH and Rhonda said, "I would suggest our blower cams. They have made 600rwhp with stock heads, stock intake and supercharger".

nah, proboly gonna take the plunge for a built motor, NA. Reason being is that my 110k motor is starting to talk to me a bit, if you know I mean. Not to confident in doing it, then having to do it again. A bit more compression, hogged out PI's, valves, and nasty cams. Ive heard of NA motors in the 340-360range now, with similar setups and the p-51 intake. Houston Performance put out a 330rwhp NA 2v in late 2000/ early 2001, granted it was an svo head/cam car. The guy is a member here from sugarland texas, but I cant think of the name off the top of my head. steve Drier, the owner of HP is one of the top NA guys at 11.41, so Im hoping they can get me what Im looking for, if my girlfreind will approve.

Plans will proboly change to a blower after a few more beers though.

Have you ever driven a blown 4.6? I have built a lot of nasty n/.a motors(not a 4.6) and although they can put out a lot of power, they are also very "peaky" and very tempermental(sp ?) driveablity is not one of there strong points. the flat torque curve of a fi car(at least with a Kb) on a street car or a dd is almost impossible to beat n/a
