So my car is an 02 gt 5spd..
Lately(within the past month or so...2 tops) My car will ocasionaly stall when im soming to a stop, with the clutch pushed in..
I have longtubes, ported stock plenum, off road x, mac fenderwell cai, 3.73's,autologic chip w/ livernois tune, steeda catback.. 36k ish miles

i have a trans out of an 03 mach (still t-3650) and since i have got that trans its been stalling.... Now I should mention that my bbk long tubes have got some big dents from the hack that did the trans..(should be getting new ones soon..)
What could be causing my car to stalll when i push in the clutch while stopping? I have the original plugs in the car, so mabye thats it?(i do go to the track quite a bit)any ideas of what i could look for if thats not it? Oh also the car stumbles badly when first started, it hesitates and kinda pops alot at first too... thats why im saying plugs.....?????
thanks, chris

sounds like a bad iac, but mine never did make a "popping" sound. Check your plugs and replace them if they need to be replaced anyway, but the stalling while at idle sounds exactly like what happened when my iac went bad.

...I can take it. I think.

Does the car feel like it is still in gear when you depress the clutch? Maybe adjust the clutch.

well, the popping sound& stumbling is only when i give it gas when the motor is cold, and also under load at low rpm's.(only on a cold motor) It revs fine in neutral
once the car warms up it runs awesome, but when i come to a stop it sometimes drops to like 400 rpms or less, sometimes the r's come back up somtimes it stalls...
I tried to clean the IAC out with brake cleaner..(yes i took it off of the plenum first..lol) still does it... i guess i'll grab anew one and try that...
I dont think thats it though
I cant figure it out, its not like it does it all the time just here and there...
I need to figure this out, but i am not all that great with cars...
