:bang: 2.8 90 mustang seems to be chuggin.......last fill up added a bottle of dura-lube seemed to resolve issue......once tank is low and new fill up required chugggin resumes..........thought may be its the fuel filter but where is it????....mmmmm can some one help a fellow mustang owner.

Sorry man. I don't know much about those cars. I don't know if they're an easy in line filter that will usually be by the top of the fuel tank on the passenger side or if it's and in tank job. If you can get under the rear of the car you may be able to see it. Sorry I can't be of more help.

umm do you mean 2.3L not 2.8? There was no 2.8s in 90 lol. The fuel filter is located front of the gas tank in the middle of the car clamped to the side of the frame. Just use plies to take off the 2 plastic clamps and then pull of the hoses ( watch out for leaking gas in your eyes) and replace the filter. Make sure you put the filter in the correct flow direction. Easy job takes 10 min. Fuel filter is about 10-12 bucks.
