so lucky me got hit by some uninsured ahole here in philly. i just got a quote in for all the repairs and since i didnt have colision i'm paying this out of pocket so i wanna know if this sounds reasonable.

here's the parts list:

-LF Fender (used) $175
-Steering Knuckle (used) $125
-LF Control Arm (used) $100
-Strut $80
-Steering Gear Assembly $215
-Outer Tie Rod $95
-Inner Tie Rod $40
-Left Door Shell (used) $250

total comes to 2913.88 all said and done with labor and what not. includes front end alignment, wheel balancing and all refinishing and hardware for the replacement door and fender

Let me know what you guys think

I think your getting boned. A new fender from certifit is barely over $50. I prefer used factory pieces if I can fine em though. I am in the process of rebuilding my 93 convertible that my daughter wrecked and I paid $50 for a pair of perfect used fenders off a 92lx out of the paper. I would expect to pay about $50 from any salvave yard. $250 is about average for a complete door with glass and all the window mech. atc. And what you got quoted for the suspension components is way high. Is that including labor or just parts. That stuff isnt that much new! I just bought a complete rebuilt steering rack with tie rods and all for under $100. I say fix the suspension and hang the sheetmetal yourself then take it to the paint shop. Got any pictures of the damage?
