Stang wont shift out of park

At a little over 98,000 miles she wont shift out of park. After reading several threads I found that its the safety interlock so would I be better off taking her to a transmission shop or the stealership?

You checked the related fuse for the interlock switch?

The fuse is good, so I guess I will take her to either the dealership or a transmission shop.

Took it to a local repair shop: The pigtail electrical connector had broke.
