Today I finally got to start my turbo project so far I got my long tubes off (which ar for sale) and the pass side header mounted. I'm hoping to get both headers mounted today and possibly get the turbos mounted to them. I'm going to have to take off my A/C but it doesnt work right now anyways... My dad isnt too fond of having to cut up my fenders for the turbos to stick in, so hes gonna really throw a fit about removing the A/C. Heres a picture of what I have so far and a picture of my valve cover with a big crack in it Dont know how it got there.

you got mail Paul.

Little update... Removed all of my A/C chit and now I'm throwing around the idea of which way I want to mount the headers... pointing up or pointing down since my A/C compressor isnt in the way anymore. Heres a few more pictures.

IF I were you Zach, I would take some time and clean up the engine bay when everything is off...It may set you back a little in time, but when you are finished, you will be glad you did..

Be ready to makes lots of beer runs and lots of part store runs. I finally got my car started today. I am not going to run it until I get my chip burnt this coming week. After that, look out. I made a little run today and saw 10#'s right off. After being down for 6 mos, I am ready to ride. GL on your project. I hope you have lots of patience.

Right now my plans are to just get the turbos mounted and downpipes ran this week so I will be able to drive my car. After that I shouldnt have to worry about time because the rest I'll be able to do with the car in still running order.

The turbos I'm running are Garrett T3's. The one on the pass side in the picture is off an 88 Mustang SVO, and the drivers side one is off of a Thunder Coupe and yes I did pay $120 shipped for each of them. Both are .60/.63 a/r. Your more than likely going to have to cut up your nice fenders so I dont know if you'll want to do that.

There is no problem with fabricating anything just as long as its clean!
I wanted turbos before I bought the V2. I want to hear a video of those babies when you get them boosting!

Man I had a video of my 94 boosting with those T3's.

They sound like a JET taking off, especially in mid RPM's.

Ahh they sound so sweet.

Im gonna try to get a vid of my car within the next couple weeks, im down on time and money(new powerplant getting put in the car)

=(

Little update, pass side is ready to get the pipe to mount the turbo put on, and I'm still playing around with the drivers side header its being a PITA. I'll have pictures later tonight with hopefully both headers mounted and fenders cut.

I know this is early but DO NOT get nuts as soon as they are installed. Learn from many people who went boost without a proper dyno tune.

I would say anything over 8#'s will do that to your gaskets if you are not tuned. I was safe until I changed my pulley for more "GREED" boost.

btw: That's what a 5.0 Piston looks like after 160K on it. After several bottles of n2o and now 12#'s of boost. 5.0's rock!
