Oh ok. It looks pretty extensive under there. Well, I have another question...looking at this particular setup, is it required to switch to coilover shocks because it looks like the minitubs are going into the space where the stock springs would be? I wouldn't mind switching to rear coilovers tho. I just like to gather all the info I can before I actually get something like this done.

Yes, you have to go coilovers, everything comes as a kit, really wasn't bad to install...

Here's a shot from inside

Big brown truck showed up yesterday, thought i'd have to wrestle the driver for these...

Discount tire had the best price,Kumho ecsta 335/35/17, might not matter what the rims look like

WOW!!! I cannot believe that this is the 1st time I have looked at this thread. I just read through the entire thread, looked at all the obstacles, & progress... I gotta say that your work, skills, & determination are amazing to say the least. I can't wait to see the finished results....

My 2 cents, please don't run 93 Cobra wheels on this car. I would love to see something with a deep, polished lip in the rear....

We always wanted to do this on a fox, they are an unbelievable 13.5'' wide, to bad it'll be like a month til we can get em mounted ,by the time the rims get here and get sent out to Weld Craft and come back. Hopefully the wait will be worth it and the paint will be finished.

A few updates to get us off page 3, lol, it's always good when big brown shows up. Today he showed up with a complete weatherstripping kit for the whole car and t-tops from Fox resto, it is all sooo nice, just hope it goes together sooo nice.

Have spent a lot of time and money getting the right shade of dk. charcoal for all the accents and motor, some will be base coat/flattened clear, to a semi gloss eggshell look. Today I had sucess with my paint store in mixing a single stage vinyl to use on trim and smaller things. Doing base coat clear coat on all this trim and small stuff was turning out to be a real pita. So here is the vinyl paint on the sail panel, great looking stuff and so much easier. Some people may not be fans of sail panels but for us it is a must on this particular car.

Let me know how you like (or how good it is) the weatherstripping kit. I need to save still for it, it's huge coin for the t-top kit!

Those tires kick aZZ!

I wanna put the Monsterous meats on my car just like you're doing. I'll have to find out what the total cost of parts and install of minitubs and coilovers will be. That'll be my semi-longterm goal for my car. I also need to buy a complete weatherstripping kit...I'll be ordering that soon.

You're car will be another one of my idols! It's coming together AWESOME!!!

Get ready to put the hurt on your wallet, that weatherstripping kit was a killer.
The mini tub kit is not that expensive, it's the labor if you can't to it yourself.

I'm talking about getting the kit that 5.0resto sells. I don't think it's THAT much. But I also don't have to change EVERY piece of weatherstipping in my whole car.

Yea, I know it's gonna be bad, but there are some good threads on foureyed pride and some guys I can ask over there.

More things are arriving daily...

My neighbor does custom interiors, and he has had several interiors in magazines, he has agreed to do the seats, and a very interesting customizing of the back seat to accomidate the minitubs. Have spent alot of time sanding all the little parts, all are primed now and all of the dk. charcoal stuff is painted.

Possibly all body parts will be done this week and ready to go back together.

I can't wait to see how he does the backseat with the minitubs back there. With me having a baby on the way I was thinking minitubs would be out of the question if I want her to be able to ride in the car anytime before she gets big enough to ride in the frontseat.
