Starter Not Disengaging Quick Enough

Had this issue just arise and I was going to ask for opinions before I tear into it. The starter wants to hang for a second or two after the engine is started. It's a PA Performance "Mini" starter that I've had on the car for a few years without issue. Is there something that could cause this and are there any checks to do to see if it's the starter itself. Does PA Performance warranty their starters for life?

sounds to me like its time for a rebuild. id bet the bendex is starting to stick, thats what the guys that rebuild ours at work tell me when they do the same thing.
